Our preparation for this trip is basically the same for all our trips. Personal care items. Travel first aid kit just in case. Our medications. Laptop computer/charger, iPhones-will bring both/chargers. A small point & shoot camera with great zoom. Travel documents. Passports, covid immunization records. Travel alarm clock. Digital weight scale which is invaluable before checking our luggage. Converter plugs.

Some of the toiletries packed |
The bane of my existence-packing list. Because of the many churches we'd be visiting we went and bought several pairs of cover the knee length shorts for my husband, We went back and forth but did pack rain jackets as well as rain ponchos. Update: used rain jackets day of arrival to Venice but the rain ponchos would have been fine on their own. They're much lighter and fold into tiny little squares. I must say I think we did ok as luggage to be checked was well under 50# limit. Update: one thing I wished I had packed for myself was a pair of my bedroom slippers as the ones provided by some of our hotels were much too large and kept falling off my feet! Most things we packed for my husband were worn except for maybe 1 pair of shorts. For me I had packed some leggings I never wore as it was just too hot in Italy. I also had packed 4 wraps but only wore 3. And of course my black go with everything but great anti theft cross body bag. So not too bad a job of packing overall. Getting better at this.
I had updated my little green ITALY book with prices, opening & closing times, etc. I never filled in my blank calendar pages. Gasp! First time that happened! My travel document folder/bag was ready to go. This I guard with my life as it contains ALL the information about our trip-flight details, hotel informations, tours booked, and so forth. It's divided by destinations mainly-Venice, Florence, Amalfi, and Rome with compartments for flights/trains......

You folks get around--the world that is! Nice pictures. Thank you.
